Safeguarding

AFS is committed to the protection of affected populations, regardless of their age, gender identity, disability, and other minorities and backgrounds. Unfortunately, harm caused by humanitarian interventions can sometimes result from various factors, including abuse perpetrated by staff, unsafe programmes and operations, and unsafe communication and media. We take these issues seriously and work to prevent and address them through our policies and practices according to the following four pillars: Awareness; Prevention; Reporting; and Response.

If you have witnessed or been subject to harm perpetrated by AFS or partner staff or programmes, please contact us at our confidential safeguarding email address (safeguarding@aidfundforsyria.org) or call or WhatsApp our hotline (+90 536 775 0580).
