Organisations may apply to become a Qualified Implementing Partner of AFS

Becoming an implementing partner
Only NGOs who pass AFS vetting assessments and are assigned Qualified Partner status are eligible to apply for AFS funding. NGOs can become a Qualified Implementing Partners through a five-stage application process:
Stage 1: Registration
Stage 2: Eligibility
Stage 3: Due diligence
Stage 4: Capacity assessment
Stage 5: Framework agreement
Signing a Partner Framework Agreement does not constitute a guarantee that the partner will receive awards through AFS allocations.
How to apply
New applicant organisations must first register an account on our Opportunities Portal. Just click on the 'Apply' button below to start the process. Once you have registered on the Portal, select the 'Open Opportunities' menu to find the 'Application for Partnership’ opportunity and follow the instructions.
The AFS portal will be open for new partner registration from 1st to 30th September 2025. Additional designated windows may be opened throughout the year, each typically lasting one month. These windows will open at least annually, subject to the Fund’s strategic priorities and anticipated funding opportunities.
If you have registered an account on the Portal previously, remember that your username will be the same as your email address. If you are unable to log in, please select Forgot Password and you will receive an email with a link and instructions on how to reset your password. Note that your account will be locked after 3 failed attempts. If you need technical support, please email techsupport@metricsled.com.
If your organisation has previously submitted an application but has not yet been qualified, you are required to submit a new application in line with the updated eligibility criteria.
