Blood bank network, northwest of Syria

We are delighted to announce the initiation of a centralised blood bank network in the northwest of Syria, managed by our AFNS partner, WATAN Foundation, and supported by WHO. This important initiative is designed to ensure that patients in hospitals throughout the region have prompt access to safe blood products when required. The network will play a central role in managing and coordinating the blood products supply chain with the existing blood banks, which are members of the thalassemia and blood banks task force.

By providing this information, you will enable the WATAN Foundation to effectively coordinate the supply and distribution of these vital blood products to hospitals in need.
